Pet Growth Guide
Now that you've equipped your pet with some serious Skills, how do you squeeze every bit of power out of your little buddy? The Pet Growth trait is something all pet owners should keep an eye out on.
The Pet Growth attribute determines your pet's base combat stats.
There are two ways to increase this growth attribute: Boost your Pet, or feed your pet a Fruit of Growth.
Boosting your pet
Boosting your pet is a way to "fortify" your pet's growth level (this is different from actually Fortifying your pet).
To Boost your pet, you will need 1 of 2 things: Magic Stone of Growth, or a Catalyst of Growth (or both).
Magic Stone of Growth can primarily be found in the Dragon Island event, but they also drop from other various dungeons and areas around the game world.
Catalyst of Growth can be obtained from the Marketplace.
Take either of these items to NPC Gadro in Rainbow Valley. There he will have an option called Boost Pet.
At Gadro, you will be able to select the pet you wish to Boost as well as which items to use to INCREASE the chances of the Boost. Below you can see the Growth difference between a starting pet with no growth Boost vs. a pet that has been Boosted to level 10.
Reminder: Failure to Boost the pet will reduce the Boost level by 2. So you'll definitely want to make sure you boost your pet with the help of a Catalyst Growth. The Catalyst of Growth will not only increase your chances of Boosting your pet, but failure to Boost the pet will only reduce the Boost level by 1.
Fruit of Growth
Feeding your pet a Fruit of Growth is another way to increase your pet's Growth value. You can only feed your pet 3 Fruit of Growth throughout their entire life time. Each time a pet eats a Fruit of Growth, its Growth level increases by 100.
